Immanuel Church, Chichester - Who we are

Immanuel Church is based in Chichester, West Sussex, England. We are an evangelical church, aiming to centre our lives on Jesus Christ and his teaching.

Our Sunday services are held in St Michael's Hall, Summersdale Road at the northern end of Chichester. This is at the invitation of the rector of St Paul's parish church, and we are working very much in partnership with the parish church. Most Sunday services are at 10.00 am, but on the first Sunday of each month our Café Church service is later. Café Church starts with lunch at 12.30 followed by a Family Service from 1.30 to 2.15.

You are very welcome to drop in at one of our services if you are in the Chichester area.

Alongside our Sunday and midweek programme, we organise a number of youth and community activites. We have links with many parts of the world, and encourage our members to get practically involved in overseas development projects, medical work and educational projects. We run Alpha courses on a regular basis.

Our leadership team consists of our two ministers, Revd Steve and Mrs Sarah Flashman (in the picture), together with five elected leaders. We believe, however, that every Christian has a part to play in the church, and we are dependent on all our members, with their commitment and enthusiasm, to share the work and activities of the church.

As well as working in partnership with St Paul's Church, we are members of the Evangelical Alliance and of Churches Together in Chichester.

Immanuel Church is Registered Charity No 1070225.
